MONORAIL GAME
For 2, 3 or 4 Players

OBJECT:
The object of the game is to be the first player to complete the Monorail Ride and finish ahead of Casey Jr.
EQUIPMENT:
The equipment consist of one white and one colored die, a playing board and 5 playing pieces.
PREPARATION:
The red playing piece representing Casey Jr. is placed on the starting space on the outside track. Each player then selects one of the remaining playing pieces, and places it on the space marked "Start" on the inside track. Player roll the white die, and the player who rolls the highest number goes first.
TRACKS:
There are two tracks on the board. The outer track represents the Casey Jr. railroad. The lines crossing this track are the spaces, and the players move Casey Jr. from line to line. The inner track represents the MONORAIL RIDE and players move from dot to dot. The 6 red dots at the end of the track simply indicate the ride is nearing the end.
THE PLAY:
The starting player throws both dice and moves
his piece the number of spaced indicated
on the white die. He then moves
Casey's piece the number of spaces indicated on the colored die. If Casey lands on a space with a flag on it, the the player (NOT CASEY) must follow the instructions on the flag, and his turn ends. A player moving on the Monorail track may never land on the same space occupied by an opponent. If his throw lands him on a space occupied by another player, he must move his piece back to the first unoccupied space.
Players move around the Monorail track only once. If any roll of the white die carries a player beyond the finish, he forfeits his turn (unless otherwise instructed by a flag) as he can win only by exact count.. Casey
always moves and continues to circle his track counting his station as a space, unless he lands by exact count on the space marked "Finish" at the same time that one or more player are occupying one or more of the red dots in which case the game ends. Casey may not stop at "Finish", but must continue around the track again unless there is at least one piece on the red dots and unless he land on "Finish" by exact count.
WINNING THE GAME
The first player to reach the Monorail station by exact count of the white die wins the game unless Casey Jr. reaches his station by exact count first (with one or more pieces on the red dots), in which case Casey Jr. wins the game.
If a player and Casey Jr. reach their respective stations on the same throw, the
player wins the game as
he always moves before Casey.
